This database aims at presenting a repertory of monophonic secular melodies used as the basis for secular and sacred polyphony from the last decades of the fifteenth until the mid sixteenth century. Each melody is related to the compositions in which they are embedded.
The database is in the process of being expanded to include contrafacta and sacred compositions, mainly masses.
